Rekkevidde started in 2011 with a grant from the Nordic Energy Research (NER) with the aim to improve knowledge on the range of electric vehicles operating  in Nordic countries. Assessing range and performance of electric vehicles in the challenging Nordic driving conditions will help produce the complete picture of energy use for electric vehicles, and therefore make electric vehicles a more reliable choice for Nordic drivers.
