Hydrogen is a versatile energy carrier that may not only be used for transport but also for stationary applications.  HYPER was a specific targeted research project funded by the European Commission under the Sixth Framework Programme that developed an Installation Permitting Guide (IPG) for hydrogen and fuel cell applications.  The IPG was tailored to provide recommendations for systems and Europe.  To make the document more specific for the UK market, Health and Safety Executive (HSE) modified the original IPG to adjust for the differences.  If you are investigating the possibilities of using hydrogen for stationary applications this report may be a beneficial source.  Click here to review the 2009 whole report.
